Embassy Engagements
A 30-member Nepali delegation led by Mr. Rabilal Pantha, Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration of Nepal, visited the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing and met with H.E. Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli yesterday. The delegation arrived in Beijing on 8 April to participate 'Senior Executive Development Program' training organised by the National Academy of Governance of China. During the meeting, Dr. Oli briefed the Nepali delegation on the Embassy's ongoing programs to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Nepal-China diplomatic relations covering diverse sectors such as trade, tourism, investment promotion, food festival, & people-to-people exchanges. He also highlighted ongoing collaborative initiatives with China emphasizing the importance of joint commitment from both sides to expedite the implementation of previously signed agreements. The Nepali delegation, in turn, shared their experiences about various aspects of development of China.
H.E. Mr. Jose Julio Gomez Beato, Ambassador of Dominican Republic to the People’s Republic of China paid courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli at the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing yesterday. Both sides engaged in a constructive exchange of views on contemporary geopolitical developments, regional challenges, and their respective foreign policy priorities. The discussions also covered other matters of mutual interest, underscoring a shared commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and fostering closer cooperation.
