The attention of the Embassy has been drawn to reports in a section of the social media concerning a recent incident involving a group of Chinese tourists visiting Nepal.
The incident has been noted by the relevant authorities of the Government of Nepal and investigations are underway to determine whether the customs authorities were acting in accordance to law. Anybody involved in the incident, if found guilty of misdemeanor or transgression of duty, will be brought to book.
Meanwhile, the Embassy calls on Chinese tourists planning to visit Nepal to remain assured of their full safety and security in Nepal, and of the great warmth, hospitality and respect with which the people of Nepal are eager to welcome the friendly people of China visiting the country.

日前，尼泊尔驻华大使馆注意到，部分社交媒体上有关于近期发生的一起关于中国游客在尼泊尔旅游时遭遇突发情况的报道。
尼泊尔政府相关部门已经针对这一事件开展调查，以确认涉事海关相关部门和人员是否是在依法行事。尼泊尔政府承诺，如果相关涉事人员被证实有不端行为或失职，将依法对其进行处理。
尼泊尔驻华大使馆向计划去尼泊尔的中国游客保证，游客在尼泊尔是非常安全和有保障的，热情好客的尼泊尔人民尊重并欢迎友好的中国人民到尼泊尔旅游。
